TOGETHER TOWARDS A HEALTHY, SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY

About Utrecht Science Week

Utrecht Science Park is flourishing. This can be seen in the scientific achievements and successful collaboration between knowledge and care institutions and specialised companies, as well as the arrival of new parties – both established names and startups – all with grand ambitions and a passion for innovation. Together, we are working to create a healthy, sustainable society.

In the years ahead, Utrecht Science Week aims to make the value and progress of the joint efforts at Utrecht Science Park more visible to a wide audience of stakeholders and interested parties.

The inaugural edition of this Utrecht Science Week will take place on 14 and 15 October 2021.
If you work or study at Utrecht Science Park and are closely involved with developments in the field of sustainability and healthy living, then we highly recommend participating in Utrecht Science Week.

Both days will offer a rich and varied programme with top speakers like Mariana Mazzucato, Pauline Meurs, Bas Eickhout and Derk Loorbach, stimulating debates with guests including Andrea Maier, Marc Bonten, Peter Joosten and Rosanne Hertzberger and inspiring workshops and so-called Utrecht Science Park Talks. Young talent will also take centre stage during the live finals and award ceremony for the Sustainable Campus Challenge: a competition in which students come up with solutions to make ‘their’ Utrecht Science Park healthier and more sustainable.

In short, it will be a programme that invites participants to learn, inspire and connect, both online and in person. Interested? Keep an eye on this website for more news about the programme. Participants can register via this site in September.

Utrecht Science Week is an initiative of the Utrecht Science Park Foundation in cooperation with its partners HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Utrecht University, University Medical Centre Utrecht, the Princess Máxima Centre and biotech company Genmab.
