Prof. Jaap T. van Dissel (1957) is the director of the Centre for Infectious Disease Control (CIb) of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). In addition, he is Professor of Internal Medicine, specialising in infectious diseases, at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC).
