Wouter de Laat is group leader at the Hubrecht Institute and professor of Biomedical Genomics at Utrecht University Medical Centre. His research focuses on regulation of epigenetics and gene expression. To this end, De Laat has developed technologies that allow him to study how the three-dimensional structure of the genome affects transcriptional regulation.
